Part of a global update of the company’s online presence, the new-look portal provides insight into the latest trends across a range of industries from dairy to beverages and bakery. A choice of online tools enables food developers to source sector-specific information to add value at every stage of the NPD process.
Topical information on the consumer trends currently shaping NPD can be found on-line. Based on National Starch Food Innovation’s understanding of what consumers want from food, the information targets food developers looking for new ways to differentiate their products.
Laurent Michoud, marketing director, Europe, National Starch Food Innovation, commented: “The new EU website is designed to give our customers easier access to key industry information and a direct route to expert technical and applications support. In line with the US website, our EU product selector enables food developers to easily identify solutions to a variety of processing challenges. Tailored to address the increasing number of desirable processing and end product attributes, this tool provides multiple ingredient options to achieve qualities as diverse as fat reduction and fibre enrichment.”
Customers and partners can benefit from additional in-depth, customised information via National Starch Food Innovation’s extranet. Registering as a partner enables enhanced access to comprehensive details of routes to innovation, product and processing information and market/application-specific data.
Terry Thomas, divisional vice president, National Starch Food Innovation, said: “With time in increasingly short supply for our partners in the food industry, we want to provide a comprehensive online resource that is quick and easy to navigate. Our new website reflects the needs of today’s producers. Importantly, our extranet allows us to customise information to suit our customers’ specific needs.” | |
