IRELAND GIVES POSITIVE OPINION TO CLARINOL CLA

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has finalised its assessment of Lipid nutrition’s Clarinol CLA in the EU’s Novel Food registration process.
The FSAI’s positive opinion will now be reviewed by the other EU Member States, who will formulate an overall European opinion. If this confirms that Clarinol CLA poses no health or safety risks, the ingredient should receive final approval for use in EU food products.

Clarinol is the highest concentrated CLA available in both oil and powder form, an all natural product that can be integrated into a wide variety of foods and beverages. Clarinol CLA stimulates the breakdown of body fat and increases lean muscle mass, and has been available as a food supplement for more than a decade.
It has already been affirmed as Generally Recognised as Safe (GRAS) by independent experts, and is currently in the process of acquiring GRAS certification from the US Food and Drug Administration.
