Global ingredient supplier, National Starch Food Innovation, has appointed Laura Goodbrand as European marketing manager for its wholesome, natural ingredient solutions business. She will be based at the company’s European headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. Goodbrand will be responsible for the European marketing strategy and will manage the promotion of the company’s range of innovative clean label and organic ingredients. A key objective will be to amplify the European understanding and recognition of established brands, such as Novation® functional native starches and Homecraft™ functional flours and creative texture solutions.

Goodbrand has held positions in both sales and marketing within the pharmaceutical industry. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and valuable experience from across a number of different business platforms, including the nutrition and specialist pharmaceutical markets of obesity and immunology.

Global business development manager for the wholesome springboard, Charlotte Commarmond, commented: “Laura will ensure National Starch Food Innovation’s marketing activities in wholesome, nature-based ingredients clearly communicate the value they add for food manufacturers. This will in turn support the strategic direction of the entire business to partner our customers in NPD for the next generation of foods”.
