Fructus Schizandrae Oil is the volatile oil and lipin obtained by supercritical fluid(CO2) extraction (SFE) from the dried fruits of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. and Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd. et Wils. (Fam. Magnoliacene). It's orange and ropy liquid. Odour, aromatic; taste pungent and slightly bitter..
Active constituents:
60% volatile oil, linoleic acid, ß-bisabolene, ß-chamigrene anda-ylangene.
Actions:
1.Astringing the lung and nourishing the kidney.
2.Astringing seminal emission and diarrhea.
3.Producing the body fluid and arresting sweating
