CALIFORNIA RAISINS TEAM UP WITH WATERFIELDS

The California Raisin Administrative Committee have teamed up with Waterfields with a meal deal promotion, giving their customers the opportunity to win £1,000 holiday voucher. This new and exciting promotion will be running during the month of June.

As part of the promotion, Waterfield’s ‘New Product Development’ department have produced a delicious California Raisin Fruity Nut Bar. The bar will be offered with a fruited California Raisin roll filled with Lancashire cheese and real ale chutney and a bottle of spa water. The Lancashire cheese and real ale chutney combination won best new sandwich at the "Sammies" last year so it was decided to incorporate this winning filling with California Raisins.

As an added bonus to the meal deal, consumers will also be given a packet of California Raisins and a scratchcard. The scratchcard will give customers the opportunity to win a major prize of a £1,000 holiday voucher and many other smaller prizes ranging from £2.50 off their next shopping bill to free cold drinks and fruity nut bars.

Waterfields is an award winning baker, winning titles such as Bakery of the Year and Craft Bakery of the year in 2007. Established in 1926, today the company employs around 550 people in the 39 shops and central bakery. Waterfields have a passion for product quality and freshness combined with good customer service ensuring continued success on the high street.
