Following her policy for innovation and expansion, the Dutch trading company Lithos Food BV has recently added OatVantage™ from partner GTC Nutrition to her product portfolio. Studies have demonstrated that a regular consumption of oat and thus of beta-glucan leads to a reduction of especially the LDL-cholesterol.

OatVantage™ is an oat bran concentrate containing an extremely high level of beta-glucan: 54%. Next to cholesterol reduction, OatVantage™ also assists in maintaining healthy bloodsugar levels, weight management and in a healthy digestive system.

It can be used in many applications because of its pH and heat stability and moreover to its improved solubility compared to other beta-glucan sources.
