After a successful year 2007 Raisio Group's Ingredients Division now sees entering new market areas and growing the business among its targets for 2008.The first quarter of 2008 has been successful for Benecol®. For instance, Benecol® has become a market leader in the UK, business is growing strongly in Poland and Benecol® was officially launched in India in February. Raisio is continuing its work with local partners and authorities to enter new market areas. The most important goal is to grow the business. Raisio's strength in different market areas is its adaptability, i.e. Benecol® products are introduced to the markets with local partners in product applications appealing to local consumers. "Our vision is to become the leading actor within cholesterol-lowering ingredients. This vision is driving our work at the Raisio Ingredients Division", says Mikko Laavainen, Commercial Director, from Raisio Group, Ingredients Division.
