Bodycote LawLabs, pioneers of rapid, wide range, multi targeted pesticide residue testing, has increased the range of foodstuffs for which it can now test to include fruit and vegetables, dried products, cereals and milk with a fat content of less than 20%.

The company has also introduced a fast track service which gives results in 24 hours.

Bodycote LawLabs is now able to test for 240 residues in one test, including many compounds which have traditionally required separate targeted analysis and therefore longer turnaround times.

While industry standard for results turnround is typically 10 days, Bodycote LawLabs offers 3 and 5 day services as well as the new fast service which is particularly suitable for seasonal fruit and vegetables products with a short shelf life.

Don Brown, Bodycote LawLabs’ Pesticides Manager said:

“The range of pesticides residues that can now be tested has been extended to ensure Bodycote LawLabs can offer customers analysis that is up-to-date with changing legislation and ‘real world’ food usage patterns. We have invested in new equipment too to enable us to offer a fast turnround service, which is increasingly in demand.”
