EnWave Corporation (TSX-V: ENW) (“EnWave” or “the Company") today announced that after a successful test period at their Vancouver laboratory, the Company’s first continuous unit using its proprietary food dehydration technology has been installed in a commercial food processing facility in Richmond, B.C. to test large-scale production capabilities.

Richmond-based blueberry producer, CAL-SAN Enterprises, Ltd., has installed a continuous nutraREV unit in their food processing plant to dehydrate blueberries for sale and delivery throughout North America. The continuous nutraREV process incorporates the features and benefits from smaller batch units sold by EnWave in the past, into a larger, commercial-scale production line. CAL-SAN will test the machine’s ability to dehydrate blueberries at a commercial production rate of 100 kilograms of dried berries per hour.

nutraREV uses proprietary Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV) technology developed at the University of British Columbia to dehydrate fruits and vegetables. Smaller nutraREV batch units have demonstrated significant commercial benefits by providing food producers with a production process that is faster and more cost-effective than current dehydration techniques such as freeze-drying and air-drying. Expertise provided by CAL-SAN will assist EnWave in determining the specific benefits of the Company’s new technology over these other techniques in a commercial setting.

“Dehydrating fruits on a cost-effective basis using nutraREV technology could provide CAL-SAN with an entirely new product line,” said Dave Sandhu, President of CAL-SAN Enterprises, Ltd. “This technology could be a valuable addition to our business enabling our company to expand its product offerings to customers.”

“The start up of our first commercially designed nutraREV technology is a significant milestone for EnWave,” said John McNicol, President and Co-CEO of EnWave Corporation. “Following a successful test period, EnWave intends to market the nutraREV technology to the food industry by establishing a strategic alliance with a globally positioned builder and supplier of food dehydration equipment.”

Results from the commercial-scale test are expected in Q3, 2008.
