The LawLabs team from Bodycote Health Sciences is briefing technical managers about important changes to the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety in a series of workshops being held across the UK in the next three months.

Briefings in Birmingham, Exeter, Glasgow, Hull and Cork, close to Bodycote Health Sciences laboratories, are being given by Certification Scheme Manager for LawLabs Ltd, Jon Revell. The morning sessions are being followed by afternoon legal updates covering areas such as the latest guidance on Nutrition and Health Claims regulations, the newly released Consultation on Food Labelling and proposed revisions to meat products regulations.

“The sessions have been devised as there are some important changes planned to the BRC Standard including changes to the grading system with more rigorous and increased requirements. There is also a greater emphasis on Management commitment, enhanced requirements for HACCP, so it will be very beneficial for technical managers in the food industry to be fully up-to-speed.” Jon Revell explains.
