Ltd., the full service importer and national distributor of fine foods, is extending its burgeoning Cooks&Co house brand to include a comprehensive selection of speciality seed and nut oils. The exciting new range includes Virgin Sesame, Virgin Sunflower, Olive Oil with Chilli, Walnut, Almond, Hazelnut, Roasted Peanut and Grapeseed oils, and will be a welcome addition to Cooks&Co, R.H. Amar's collection of fine Continental foods that features a range of delicious products including olives, sauces, pesto and premium fruit products.
Aimed at retail and foodservice customers, retail sales of Cooks&Co products have risen by 10% to £2.5 million in the last year. And R.H. Amar expects the new oils to significantly add to that impressive result.

Cooks&Co's speciality oils are all sourced from Provence in Southern France, where the seeds and nuts used to make the oils are grown in near-perfect conditions, ensuring exceptional quality and an intensity of flavour that extends all the way to the finished, bottled product. Their pure, unadulterated flavours stand them apart from other flavoured oils on the market, meaning a little goes a long way and that they represent excellent value for money.
The range is ideal for adding originality and creativity to a variety of dishes: Virgin Sesame oil is great as a seasoning or to add flavour to a stir-fry; Olive oil with Chilli makes a great accompaniment to Italian dishes such as pasta and pizzas; Hazelnut and Almond oils complement sweet, baked dishes perfectly, while Walnut, Sunflower and Sesame oils are ideal for salad dressings and are all high in polyunsaturates, with walnut oil also being a great source of Omega 3 and 6.
