National Starch Food Innovation has developed a unique, pre-gelatinised functional flour that builds viscosity and texture in instant and ready-to-heat foods. Derived from wheat, Homecraft™ Express 760 enables manufacturers to create pre-prepared foods that combine home-style appeal with a consumer-friendly, store-cupboard label. The launch marks the extension of National Starch Food Innovation’s range of functional flours and creative texture solutions, designed to help food manufacturers produce premium quality foods with a culinary feel.

Homecraft Express 760 provides cold viscosity in a wide variety of foods, such as instant soups, sauces, pancake mixes, batters and gravies. The ingredient effectively and consistently delivers a smooth, pourable texture, natural opaque appearance and authentic flavour and mouthfeel typical of flour.
