Kevin Mehring recently joined Danisco – Cultures Division in the newly created position of product manager - probiotics. In this position, Mr. Mehring will be responsible for developing and implementing a global strategic marketing plan for probiotics and providing marketing support to the division’s sales efforts.

“We are pleased to welcome Kevin to our probiotic team,” says Scott Bush, vice president – Dietary Supplements Business Unit. “Kevin’s marketing background and skill set, coupled with business development experience gained at several start-ups, is a perfect fit for Danisco’s dynamic probiotic business.”

Mr. Mehring began his career as a research chemist and quickly moved into positions with increasing responsibility in technical sales and marketing management. Prior to joining Danisco, he worked with a nanotechnology start-up.

Graduating with distinction, Mr. Mehring earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a master’s of business administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
