 | | HONEYTOP SHOWCASES SPECIALITY BREADS AT ANUGA 2007 | | | Honeytop | | 22/10/2007 | | | Honeytop, Europe’s leading manufacturer of speciality breads, will be exhibiting at the food and beverage trade event ANUGA in Cologne next month to support the growing demand for its premium ethnic bread products in overseas markets.
The Honeytop team will be showcasing its range of traditionally made authentic Naan breads and other speciality flatbreads which include added value filled breads, dough-balls, and pancakes. David Laurence, Honeytop’s Sales and Marketing Director, explains why the company chose to make the most of the opportunity at ANUGA:
‘We have experienced increased demand for our speciality bread products overseas, and as market leaders it is important that we respond to the European market, and continue to develop and establish relationships in emerging specialty bread markets further afield. We are beginning to see growing interest in our flatbreads from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Australia.
‘We produce truly authentic speciality breads by using only the finest ingredients and bake our breads using traditional methods, with hand crafting of the dough and flame baking each bread in clay tandoor style ovens. This ensures that Honeytop naans closely rival restaurant quality,’ David Laurence said.
The event provides Honeytop with the opportunity to showcase its Organic Naan, recently introduced in the UK, alongside a variety of other quality products that will demonstrate the company’s premium manufacturing and production abilities.
Honeytop’s Organic Naan has met the Soil Association Certification’s standards –probably the highest and most comprehensive standards for organic production and processing in the world, making it exclusively the most authentic Naan product outside of India.
As a commitment to its overseas customers and in recognition of the ongoing export opportunities for speciality breads within the European market and beyond, Honeytop has developed a multi-lingual website. | |
