 | | START SUMMER RIGHT WITH LUSCIOUS HAAGEN-DAZS(R) EXTRA RICH LIGHT ICE CREAM | | | Haagen-Dazs | | 11/06/2007 | | | Three New 50% Less Fat Ice Cream Flavors
Just in time for the slim-down months of summer, Haagen-Dazs(R) Ice Cream is introducing three new, tempting Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light flavors to an already delicious lineup. The flavors, which have all the taste of indulgent Haagen-Dazs ice cream but with half the fat, include tropical Pineapple Coconut, chunky Rocky Road and creamy Mocha Chip.
"Summer is a time when we naturally want to lighten up our meals and take advantage of fresh produce and no-cook dishes," said Jennifer Eiseman, Brand Manager for Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light ice cream. "It's about finding that balance that allows us to look great during the summer season but still relaxed enough to enjoy favorite foods, without feeling guilty. Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light ice cream is that perfect everyday indulgence with half the fat that's as delicious as the original."
The pure ingredients and all natural flavors from around the world are what make Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light ice cream so irresistible. Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream only adds fruit juices, egg yolks and pure lemon juice to ice cream recipes -- never artificial coloring or emulsifiers. In addition, Haagen-Dazs has developed a proprietary European process for Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light ice cream that uses low-temperature blending and allows for the use of the same high quality, all natural ingredients used in its full-fat ice cream without adding any artificial sweeteners, fat substitutes or air.
These three new Haagen-Dazs Extra Rich Light Summer 2007 flavors are now available in Haagen-Dazs shops and grocery stores nationwide. (Retail price is $3.69 for a 16-ounce pint carton.)
Pineapple Coconut - An exotic and refreshingly light ice cream made with pure, sweet cream, delectable coconut and tropical pineapple pieces.
Rocky Road - A classic flavor made with our legendary chocolate ice cream, velvet ribbons of marshmallow swirl and perfectly roasted almonds.
Mocha Chip - Coffee ice cream made with the finest Brazilian coffee beans roasted and brewed to perfection, mixed with melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chips.
